AI Trading, Scam or Legit? The Truth…

Thousands of Brits are already benefiting from AI trading — the technology gets better every day. But there's a much bigger dark side: the scams. After falling for a few of them myself, I tested one automated trading assistant with £200 for 30 days. Here's exactly what happened — including the day I took my profit out.
Let's start with the obvious: AI trading is no longer some futuristic idea. Thousands of Brits are already using automated trading assistants — ordinary people, quietly using software to trade markets they'd never have the time (or nerve) to trade themselves. And the technology keeps improving every single day.
But there's a bigger, darker side — and you've probably already felt it. For every legitimate tool out there, there are loads of scams: fake brokers who take your deposit and vanish, glossy ads fronted by celebrities who never agreed to be in them, "account managers" who pressure you into depositing more — and, worst of all, platforms that simply refuse to let you withdraw your own money.
Unfortunately, I know all of this because of experience. I've been through the bad — the dodgy ads, the too-good-to-be-true promises — before I finally found something that actually did what it said.
So let me walk you through exactly how it went, day by day.
Day 1: Setup — Easier Than Expected, With One Surprise
Signing up took about ten minutes: a short form, my email, my phone number. Then came the surprise — instead of an app download, I got a phone call from a verification representative.
I'll admit I was suspicious. I'd expected a download link, not a human. But it was an onboarding call: they confirmed my details and walked me through what happens next.
The part that matters, and that nobody explains clearly: the assistant doesn't hold my money. I was connected to a broker, and my £200 activation deposit went into that broker account. It stayed my money the whole time — I checked that I could withdraw before I got serious about anything else.
Day 3: First Trades — Honestly, Almost Boring
This is the part I expected to be hard, and it wasn't. Everything went super easy. My account manager helped me set up the automated trading system — the risk settings, the markets, all of it — and after that, there was genuinely nothing for me to do myself.
No charts to read, no buttons to watch, no decisions to make at 11pm.
From then on, I could simply monitor the trades, the profits and the losses inside my account, the way you'd check a banking app. And within those first few days, I'd already booked my first profits. Small ones — but real, and sitting right there in my balance.
Day 10 · The moment I stopped doubting
£300 profit in — and I took it straight back out
After about 10 days, I'd already made £300 in profit on my £200. That was the real test for me, because as I said — I'd been burned before. So I decided to withdraw my profits immediately, expecting the usual excuses, delays, or "verify one more document" runaround.
I received the money pretty much directly. And the reason is exactly what the trading platform itself says: the money in your account is yours, and therefore you can withdraw it at any time. That single experience told me more about whether this was legit than any advert ever could.
Day 14: Mid-Point Review — Still Steady
Week two was up and down in both senses. A couple of good days added to the total; a rough Wednesday gave some of it back. The system kept trading through it all — it doesn't panic, and apparently it doesn't celebrate either.
With the withdrawal already behind me, the anxiety was gone. I wasn't wondering whether my money was reachable anymore — I knew. That peace of mind did more for me than any single winning day.
Astra doing it for you vs. you doing it alone
Same markets. Very different day.
So — scam or legit? My honest answer: the scams are absolutely out there, and I found most of them first. But what I ended up with was real.
Would I recommend it? 100%. You don't need any experience, nor is it time consuming. And unlike loads of scams out there, it's transparent — no pressure from account managers or anything like that. Starting with £200 is all it takes, and it doesn't require anything else.
You'll be taken to the official registration page, exactly as I was. The £200 minimum deposit is your own trading capital — and it remains at risk.
